We present to you an area consisting of 50 hectares of forest and 24 hectares of agricultural land. The village is located in Cluj and it is documented since 1344 being once called the Stone Village. Today the stone can be seen in the walls of houses and fences in the village and it was taken over strictly decoratively in the corners of the house and the window frames of our property. In this beautiful local stone, the local artist Sipos David translated the wonderful motifs of the late Transylvanian Renaissance; numerous pulpits made by him adorning the churches in the area.
The domain is fenced on an area of 12.6 ha and has a perimeter of 2.08 km; it has two access roads, the secondary one providing access to the agricultural lands (vineyard, fruit and nut orchards, apiary). The entrance is through an elegant double gate that opens onto a cobbled road leading to a solid white building. Built of brick and stone, the house has cheerful geraniums that warm the stone of its arches; in the interior, this warming part is played by the solid wood found in the furniture and carpentry - it brings honey and caramel tones to the rooms and creates the atmosphere of "home" (stoves with beautiful tiles also contribute).
The property has three-phase electric current and generators in case of breakdowns; drinking water comes from the municipal network but also from its own source (depths pumped) and the sewage is captured in biodegradable septic tanks. The domain has fiber optic cable internet access as well as capture antennas. The perimeter and alley lighting is automated. The garage has a capacity of three cars. The house is equipped with a surveillance system and motion sensors coupled with a security and protection system. A children's playground has recently been equipped with modern and safe equipment. For the relaxation of adults, a spring was captured and set up, as well as a waterfall near by with an impressive old willow.
All around, as far as the eye can see, the forest covers gentle hills, the hill-valley alternation being quiet like the language of the place and allowing for viticulture and beekeeping activities. The area is known, moreover, for the quality of the fruit (the orchards are protected from the currents usually found in the Borsa valley). With forest, agricultural activities, vineyards and beekeeping the domain is sustainable, an excellent pretext for downshifting – the sense of intimacy that arises from the bounty of the endless forest is overwhelming and hard to resist. In addition, the school, the hospital and everything necessary for daily life are in close proximity and Cluj is only 40 km away with all its attractions, such as Banffy/ Bonțida Castle where the magic of the Electric Castle happens summer after summer. Two other Banffy castles, from Răscruci and Borșa, outline the history and architecture of the place.
