The Villa Pedra Natural Houses project results from the rehabilitation of thirteen buildings, integrated in the former Village of Cima, in Cotas, pombalinho parish, after more than seventy years of forgetfulness and abandonment. In its perimeter, there are also five buildings in ruins, to which are added several rustic buildings with constructive potential and where we admit the possible expansion of the tourist set.
All the recovery followed the traditional aesthetics and the characteristics of ancestral construction, resulting in quality and comfort spaces appreciated both in summer and winter.
Currently, Villa Pedra consists of:
11 accommodation units with patio/single terrace outdoor communal pool
restaurant-bar
reception
laundry and supports
large house with private swimming pool and garden called Casa da Aldeia
outdoor car park for guests and helipad
annexes for capoeira, chicken coop, workshops
olive grove and surrounding garden areas, with meditation pavilion and rest.
The main materials used in the rehabilitation of the buildings are upscale, with emphasis on the floors in exotic wood of sucupira, frames with double glazing and wood finish on the interior face, central heating, some accommodations with fireplace, air conditioning, bathrooms in natural stone, and many other details of great architectural care.
At present, the 11 accommodation units are distributed in:
1 T0 next to the restaurant.
6 T1, being Almond, Cherry, Jasmine, Walnut, and Women's and Men's Schools.
4 T2, named Limoeiro, Nespereira, Alecrim and Loureiro.
