Completely renovated Chalet in the centre of S. Pedro de Sintra with classic and original architecture and exceptional views over the mountains and the sea. The renovation was meticulously carried out using excellent materials and finishes, with extremely comfortable décor. The property, which belonged to the father of architect Raul Lino, consists of a main house with three floors with three social areas and four bedrooms and a guest house with two bedrooms. The garden is divided into large flowerbeds, with large fruit and olive trees, a fountain and was designed by a landscape architect. In the main house there is a large hall that gives access to the main living room with large glass doors to the garden with views of the Pena Palace. The walls and ceilings were all restored according to their original design, with high-relief branches in plaster and painted metal. The floor is in the original wood in a herringbone pattern. On the lower floor there is a charming living room created in the old kitchen of the house, with tiled walls and an open-plan kitchen to the dining room. The kitchen is lined with wooden cabinets with straw shutters. There is also a pantry and a guest bathroom on the same floor. The first floor is occupied by the master suite with glass doors that allow you to see the greenery of the mountains outside, a large bathroom, and a bedroom that can be used as an exclusive suite living room, as a closet or an office. On the second floor there is a bedroom, a bathroom and a large living room where two more bedrooms could be built. This room currently functions as a gym. The guest house is divided into two floors, with an open-plan living room and kitchen, a guest bathroom, a storage room and a wine cellar, and the two bedrooms on the upper floor served by a bathroom. The entire ground floor has underfloor heating, as do the bathrooms. There are also bathrooms in the garden, an annex that serves as a laundry room, storage and a space for the gardener. The renovation work was complete, with externally insulated walls and a new roof. All bathrooms have underfloor heating and some have a shower and bathtub. The houses were decorated by interior architects Monica Penaguião and Arnaud Cabri-Wiltzer. The villa is located 20 minutes from the center of Cascais, 15 minutes from the international schools Tasis and Carlucci and 30 minutes from Lisbon International Airport.
