This prestigious 17th-century palace, a true treasure chest of perfectly-preserved works of art, is for sale in the heart of Reggio Emilia, one step away from the ancient Emilian Road.
The palace is a short walk from the main points of interest of a city that preserves precious evidence of its Roman, Medieval and Renaissance periods. This 17th-century palace has always been called the "beautiful lounge" of the city, as it was the protagonist of all the main events that involved Reggio Emilia: transformed into a hospital during the First World War, today it is home to recreational initiatives and artistic-cultural activities.
This four-storey building measures 1,500 sqm, distributed around a beautiful central courtyard. From the ground floor, a splendid staircase, decorated with perspectives and trompe-l'oeil, leads to the magnificent rooms on the main floor, including the central hall, whose ceilings are thirteen-meter high and feature some stunning works of art.
