Tinos island is the 3rd biggest island of Cyclades. The climate is pretty smooth with an average temperature of 21 degrees Celcius. The economy of the island is mainly dependant on the tourism. The main feature of the island is the temple of Holy Mary. Thousands of visitors per year visit the island for the temple either from Greece or from abroad. The island is packed of hotels that serve the demand for accomodation. In total there are 41 beaches where people can enjoy swimming and the hot sun. During the summer there is a big number of events.
The island combines mountain and sea view. As every island has the Chora and the individual villages. To reach the island from Athens, either need to sail by boat from the Port of Piraeus or Rafina. If though one needs to get there by airplane needs to fly over to Mykonos and then by boat to rech Tinos.
