A true one-of-a-kind in the heart of Bad Dürkheim: The heart of the winery is the Villa Zumstein, a magnificent building that forms the entrance to a diverse historic ensemble of buildings. The estate is surrounded by a lovingly restored three-sided courtyard, which captivates with its courtyard with Tuscan flair.
The foundation stone for today's winery, which at that time was an oil mill with a nail smithy, was laid in 1415. In 1765, the Zumstein family from Arosa (Switzerland) took over the estate and gave it its current name.

The magnificent villa, located in the middle of Bad Dürkheim, is estimated to date back to 1860. Even at first glance, the beautiful facade in the neoclassical style of the 19th century impresses with its imposing appearance. Via a stately staircase you reach the entrance of the property from two sides. Opulent furnishings with marble, parquet floors and 19th century country house floorboards as well as historic style and double doors make the interior appear so impressive. Magnificent high ceilings finished with stucco elements create a charming atmosphere. The large wooden door opens the view to the romantic vaulted hall below the villa.
Particularly pleasant is the beautiful courtyard with its Tuscan flair in front of the villa, which in combination with the oil mill and the cross vault, offers plenty of space to relax. A dense sea of vines covers the courtyard and frames the old olive trees. In a U-shape, the old oil mill, whose history dates back to 1415, surrounds the greenery of the courtyard. Here, oil was already pressed from beechnuts in the old walls. The open, old oak beams and the light sandstone of the old mill conjure up a warm and Mediterranean atmosphere.
In addition to the modern gastro kitchen, there are storage rooms, holiday apartments, the vinotheque and the office. There are no limits to your imagination when it comes to the further design.
